Put on your craziest socks and join us in spreading awareness and encouraging acceptance by celebrating World Down Syndrome Day with Down Syndrome Association for Families!
Why March 21st? The date 3-21, or March 21, signifies the uniqueness of the third copy (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down syndrome. People often say the 21st chromosome looks like socks, hence the reason we wear crazy socks as a way to celebrate and show support!
This event is free to attend and open to the public!
Registration appreciated to ensure we have enough goodies for everyone.
