Rocaberry Farm 2010

About 20 Li'l and Super Stars families (over 70 people) attended this year's event at the Roca Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, October 9, 2010.  Smiles abounded as children of all ages rode the hayracks to find their favorite Pumpkins to bring home for fall!  Thanks to all who attended, and to Liz and Caroline for making this fun day possible.

Summer Enrichment Activities Support (S.E.A.S.)

The S.E.A.S program provides scholarship reimbursement for para support so a child with Down syndrome can attend a summer workshop or camp.  To request the guidelines and an application for the S.E.A.S program, please email dsafnebraska@gmail.com.

Bead Night

The Mom's group met in November 2009 to make Down syndrome Awareness Bracelets.  Here is a picture of one of the styles available.  This bracelet features 21 pearl beads representing the 21st Chromosome.  The 3 colored beads represent the 3 copies of this chromosome.   If you are interested in purchasing a bracelet, please e-mail dsafnebraska@gmail.com.
